We recruiting for one of our clients an Internal Communications Manager. Our client is an international financial services company, located in Mexico City.
Overview of the role: Reporting to the Americas Internal Communications Manager, this position is responsible for developing internal communication strategies to support the growth of the organization and facilitating the internal communication in an international environment, integrating the culture and values of the company. This position also involves different activities falling within the Corporate Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion scope, as well as Employee Engagement strategies. This position has one direct report, an Internal Communication coordinator. The scope of this position is dual: local (Mexico) and regional (Americas).
Main tasks: -Contributing to the definition of the editorial policy for the various written and electronic corporate communications materials for both Mexico and the Americas region. -Supporting local internal clients (Mexico): advising on, developing and implementing support materials and communication plans relating to their specific areas in line with the priorities of the company and the global communication plan. -Optimizing the collaborative intranet tool: updating content on a regular basis and encouraging the adoption of this tool by employees. -Defining and implementing action plans to reinforce and structure Corporate Responsibility (including Diversity & Inclusion) actions in alignment with the company strategy. -Designing and implementing the company's Employee Engagement strategy to maximize levels of employee engagement and retention. -Organizing internal events: Corporate Responsibility Week, Employee Engagement initiatives, conferences, etc. -Team management: monitoring the Internal Communication coordinator's activities, mentoring and advising.
Requirements: -Minimum of 5 years of experience with strategic corporate communication, intranet platforms and channels for corporate communications, preferably in a global organization -Proven ability to create communication plans and deliver impactful communications programs, including message and strategy development, planning and targeting communications for different audiences -Ability to work seamlessly in an international environment with remote teams -Ability to prioritize and work with tight deadlines -Creative and proactive -Rigorous attention to detail -Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills -Fluent in English -Technical skills: o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, software designs a plus o Keen interest in collaborative tools, social media and digital technology
